Priyanka Bakaya founded PK Clean in order to commercialize the clean technologies of Australian inventor Percy Kean and work towards a vision of a greener planet. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, where she focused on Energy Entrepreneurship. She has worked as a a Research Analyst in Energy and Technology at Lehman Brothers, as a Venture Capital Associate at Accel Partners and Globespan Capital, and at DFJ-backed Attero Recycling. She graduated in Economics and Science, Technology & Society with Honors from Stanford University.
Benjamin Coates

Benjamin Coates is currently a graduate student at University of Utah pursuing a Ph.D in chemical engineering. He previously received BS in Electrical Engineering from University of California Berkeley
and has worked 8 years in the digital design industry. With his return to graduate studies, he recently shifted his interest to the area of clean and sustainable energy and fuel production. His main area of interest is in the thermal extraction of waste and biomass through pyrolysis.

Arjun Gupta
Engineer
Arjun Gupta is a graduate student in the Engineering Systems Division at MIT. He has worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and has project management experience in large power plants, policy experience with demand-side management, and experience helping clean-tech entrepreneurs raise funds. He has worked at Carbon War Room, World Resources Institute and the MIT Energy Conference. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Arjun brings to the team experiences at the intersection of engineering and policy.
Anchal Jatale
Engineer
Anchal Jatale is a Ph.D. candidate in the Institute for Clean and Secure Energy (ICSE) and Chemical Engineering at University of Utah. He completed a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). He has focused on different aspects of chemical engineering such as development of a laboratory scale set-up to perform methanation reaction with the use of new catalysts and estimation of kinetic models for the process, doing multi-hazard risk analysis of an offshore structure etc. His continuous interest for clean technologies brought him to this team.
Jonathan Sindler
Engineer
Jonathan Sindler obtained his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, he was awarded the Alex Horn Fellowship and graduated with distinction. His experience spans a variety of industries and he has consulted on projects within clean-tech, biopharmaceuticals, water medical device and vaccine industries. Key areas of expertise: process engineering, validation, risk management, environmental analysis. Jonathan is a member of the California Cleantech Open and Imagine H20.
Subbaraman Viswanathan (Vis)
Technical Advisor
Vis is a technology expert in the alternate energy, catalytic processing, energy conversion and gas cleaning areas. He retired from ConocoPhillips in 2009 where he was Director, Advanced Technologies. Vis identifies and develops novel technologies based on technical and economic evaluations. He has successfully commercialized batch processes into continuous designs and has extensive experience manufacturing catalysts and intermediates. Vis has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota.
